So I think I’ve been drinking coffee since the age of.. nine? Like “get-out-of-my-face-I-haven’t-had-coffee-yet” levels of caffeine dependance since before I was a double digit. So when the pandemic hit and I realized that multiple cups of coffee a day miiiight have been contributing to the sky high levels of anxiety I was experiencing (you know, other than the seemingly endless amount already caused by a once-in-a-century global pandemic), I bought my first bag of DandyBlend. The oddest sounding coffee substitute I could have possibly imagined.
At first I was completely freaked out by the taste, it’s this rooty-earthy-nutty flavour that just seemed so odd at first. I have to admit, when I drank my first cup I was genuinely worried I made a terrible mistake. But after a few days I actually had completely taken to the taste of Dandy Blend. In fact, now I have decent cravings for it. Combine like a teaspoon of the powder with some boiling water, and 2tbsp of Silk Vanilla almond coffee creamer and you can thank me later.
